Standing on a red cliff
extended above the sky
peering over steep edges,
boundless above and beneath.
Fixating our eyes
on the horizonless
expanse
clasped fingers
detain
rushing
fears
of falling
onto
slender currents.
Air inhaled
oxygen absorbed
exhale.
Warm breaths
float
and fuse.
In these latitudes
nothing is finite,
Fathomless
like red cliffs
endless skies
clasped fingers,
we are.
